Asian women: Sexual strikebreakers?

Pick a stereotype. Art by Margaret Kasahara.
Today, on the blog Objectify Chicks -- devoted to women, not bird children -- the would-be "relationship expert" behind the site attempts to explain why so many men of his ilk prefer Asian women. Naturally, he spews forth an assortment of stereotypes which manage to be insulting towards American and Asian women at the same time.

American women, he writes, echoing a widespread sentiment amongst manosphere men,

are worthless. They are fat, ignorant, self-absorbed, and sexually unskilled. They are so stonehearted that they have been murdering their unborn at the rate of 4,000 innocents a day for 30 years. They are psychologically unstable, romantically unreliable, and more prone than not to use the legal system as a weapon to merely get their way. American women are brash, obnoxious, loud, and irrational - and that is on their very best days.

Asian women, by contrast,

are (largely) diminutive, petite, and feminine. They are quiet and submissive, and have genuine values. ... They are devoted to their family, and recognize that sexual skill is a necessary part of being a woman. They recognize that their primary loyalty is to their husband and do not have the "party" attitude of young American women. They are clean, manageable, marriageable, and sane.

Mr. Chick Objectifier shows how much he values these women with values by illustrating his post with a picture of a young, attractive Asian women, with the following caption: "Hello There .... You must be the birthday boy!!! I am your gift!!! I am here to love you long time!"

Clearly, Mr. Objectifier suggests, the best way to knock those smug American women down a peg or two is to import as many of these Asian "gifts" to the US as possible. Alas, evil feminists -- sorry, "femtards" -- have put a some barriers in the way, in the name of protecting women and girls from "human trafficking." Mr. Chick Objectifier objects, arguing that

the femtard interest in Western men's attraction to foreign women has nothing to do with their purported concern for "human trafficking." Femtard attempts to criminalize foreign matchmaking services and the ease with which foreign wives can obtain visas is rather an attempt to squelch competition from real women (which Western, femtard women are NOT) so that Western men are forced to settle for the screeching, obnoxious, and fat-laden banshees of the femtard left.

That's right: In his mind Asian women are basically sexual strikebreakers, and feminists want to keep them out of the US so they can have ... bitter, woman-hating dudes like the Chick Objectifier all to themselves?

I was following his logic up to this point, but then my head exploded.

  1. It's very sad that confused, miserable individuals like Chick Objectifier exist. Is there a sudden dearth of therapists in this country, or what?

  2. I am intensely curious to know what Mr. Objectify Chicks considers to be 'sexually skilled.'

I suspect it has more to do with 'blow jobs and anal on demand' than anything else.

  3. The main contact these guys have with women is watching porn with Asian pornstars in it. That's why these guys constantly fantasize about Asian and East-European women.

These guys are very easy prey for golddiggers and that's the type of things that will happens to them :

  4. These guys really need to stop whining about the International Marriage Brokers Act. It has like no teeth whatsoever. If you got your panties in a knot because your prospective bride can request a copy of a poorly-done background check and gets a brochure that tells her she won't be deported for divorcing a guy who beats her, then maybe an arbitrary limit on the number of fiance visas you can apply for is not the biggest thing between you and happiness.

  5. And also, I believe it only applies to women you meet through a broker. If you have the gumption to get your ass over to Asia and meet a chick on your own, I'm pretty sure it's still game on for lying about your income or previous criminal history.

  6. Reminds me of this: http://boycottamericanwomen.blogspot.com/2011/02/american-women-hate-asian-women.html

Nevermind the *flipside* of the stereotype, of Asian women who pose as young, frigid girls to "please" their man by being "unskilled" virgins. Women are women. *chuckle* These MGTOW blokes will never GET it...they'll just keep on slappin' the salami and hopin' for 1950.

  7. Holy racist stereotyping batman! I can't help but notice that the abortion thing is so blantantly wrong. Asian countries in general have roughly equivalent rates to western european and american ones http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/wrjp334pd.html Abortion tends to be less of a political battle in Asia, but it every bit as common as in the west. Oops, better forget things like China's high abortion rate if it does not fit into your racist anti-choice rants.

  8. I wonder if any of them have noticed the extreme gender imbalance in places like China. Last I saw it was 130/100 for male to female ratio. That is not going to end well and it will make it a great deal harder to find some random Asian woman to marry.

  10. DarkSideCat is right. I have heard, but have not confirmed myself, that Japanese don't like hormonal birth control (and in poorer countries it's not as likely to be available anyway) and it can be tricky to get. Condoms fill a gap, obviously, but abortions are common as well.

Ah, Wiki to the rescue. Japan is my point of reference, so here we go:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_Japan

They are really good at hiding their reliance on abortion, but it is available. I find it interesting that they'll punish a mother for performing a self-abortion rather than going to a properly certified clinic, which isn't a bad policy as long as access isn't an issue. We just had the septic wards of the 1950s that no one ever talked about.

  12. "I suspect it has more to do with 'blow jobs and anal on demand' than anything else. "

Ha! I was coming to remark on that exact quote.

I'm also betting it means anal and blow jobs on demand. Also, the woman never requests a man go down on her. Oh, and something about how they're "tighter" than western women. I'm pretty sure these guys believe any female genitalia myth that there is. Right down to the, "All virgins bleed from the vag like shooting geysers when penetrated." In fact we know they believe that last one.

I can't tell you how many men think ridiculous things about me for being Asian. First off these types of men don't know the cultural differences between Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean, etc... They latch on to whatever Asian stereotypes they like and associate them with me. I'm submissive? Ha! Spend an hour with my Grandmother and find out exactly how submissive she is, and she's not American born.

Truly, if an Asian woman is "acting" submissive, it's just that, acting. It's not like some inherited genetic trait either. It's a symptom of oppression and how they MUST act in certain situations. JUST like American women in the 50s, 60s and long before that. Even today, we still can't act however we want or how a man would because we'll be judged or punished in some way.

  19. The funny part is that my personality in relationships vaguely resembles that of the Asian woman described here. (Except that I'm only quiet when in large groups of people and I'm fairly tall.) Of course, the reason my personality resembles the Asian woman's is because I have terminally low self-esteem and believe on a gut level that if I'm not a perfect girlfriend whoever I'm dating will come to their senses and date someone else. So... yeah.

  20. As women in western societies have a PRIVILEGE in the dating game, why should this even matter?

As you feminclowns complain about male privilege a lot, this type of female privilege doesn’t seem to matter to you idiots.

  22. As women in western societies have a PRIVILEGE in the dating game

No they don't. Your idea of "privilege" in this context is having the right to reject advances and have standards for who you want to date. Men have that right, too, of course, but when women claim that right you pretend that women are repressing you by not following your orders. Lame.

  24. Speaking as someone who has dated a Japanese woman (from Japan), the truth is far more complicated...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Um, yea seriously, China already has a shortage of women, not so much in the current mating generation, but among those who are under 20 years old today.

Under the Communist system women were taught to be equals, to participate in the workforce, to participate in society, have a life of their own. Go to any city in China and you will see young women and men in their 20's delaying marriage and family to enjoy life and earn money, no different than young people in NYC. All of the Chinese women I know are very ambitious. "Quiet and demure" is just an act, the more China rises and Chinese people gain confidence, this tendency will decline as well.

  26. I can certainly verify that my Japanese wife was glad to move away from a country where the sexual politics was at least thirty years behind ours. A land of glass ceilings, frequent sexual harassment and where there was an expectation of matrimonial drudgery. I believe my partner is rather glad not to be groped on trains any more and then feel obliged not to complain about it.

However, I'm sure that to Captain Objectify, this sounds like some kind of paradise.

  31. Brigit - Yeah, American public transport has its share of pervs but the Japanese take it to a whole nother level. Partly from opportunity - it's just easier to get crushed up against a woman who will literally have no way to get away from you - and partly because a Japanese pervert groping a Japanese woman on the train is more confident than his foreign counterparts that she won't make an embarrassing fuss about it. For whatever the anecdotal data is worth, when I was an undergraduate a survey of American vs Japanese girls in my peer group showed the Japanese dealt with more sexual harassment from strangers than the Americans, and I think I'm downplaying it by using the word harassment. And they didn't ever see the point of reporting most of it, even though Tokyo has tiny manned police stations all over the place, so it's super easy to find a cop when you need one.

I read recently that there is a not unlucrative mail-order bridge industry sending western women over to marry Chinese men (due to the disparity).

It goes above your little head. Again.

Not every woman out there is a good submissive wife. Maybe they have good submissive wives, but don't want to deal with vindictive women at the workplace or other forces in their perspective spheres that have made them critical of certain women. There are women that make it absolute hell for many men. Because you can't acknowledge that fact, well, that's your shortcoming.

Plus, it may actually SHOCK you, but there are men that want to help other men obtain a partner that actually treats them, well, not like shit. A good friend of mine has been married since early college and had two blogs up about interracial relations, and focused much on white men with black women. I lamented the fact when he removed both because he had much support despite detractors. What is wrong with a site that helps men avoid pitfalls and undesirable women while promoting the good? Simply nothing at heart. Would you question a woman that played matchmaker with singles and was married herself(even if her thrust had twist?). Not bloodly likely.

  38. wytchfinde: "What is wrong with a site that helps men avoid pitfalls and undesirable women while promoting the good? Simply nothing at heart. Would you question a woman that played matchmaker with singles and was married herself(even if her thrust had twist?). Not bloodly likely."

I would not question a matchmaker who had the best interests of both parties at heart, did her matchmaking out of pure altruism, and matched partners who are more or less each other's equals in terms of age, attractiveness, and socio-economic background. I WOULD question a matchmaker who markets to abusive men, matches partners with as much as a 25-year age difference between them, makes prospective brides submit semi-nude photos to total strangers and promotes grossly inaccurate stereotypes.

I was born and grew up in a country that supplies a hefty share of mail-order brides to the Western market. My honest opinion, matchmaking services blatantly lie about my country's culture, specifically when they tell American men that a woman raised in our culture lives to serve men, that she won't defend herself forcefully against physical abuse, and that she wants nothing more in life than to marry an ugly, greasy slob two decades her senior so that she can spend the rest of her life waiting on him hand and foot. But it's not submission -- oh no -- it's respect. These matchmaking services also blatantly lie to women, when they misrepresent their clients' backgrounds and financial situations. They also lie to women when they represent to them that they act in their interest.

  39. As an American woman, Im not all that arsed about the characterization....the media, and our celebutauntes (Paris Hilton, et al) put forth an image that is plastic and, I think, inaccurate of most American women.
I'd be pissed though, if I were an Asian woman. Idk why Asian women are so sexually fetishized in our culture. Maybe it's the whole submissive deal, who knows....but characterizing an entire race of people this way is just laughable. Even though the people doing the characterizations think they are doing so in a positive way (attributing sought after qualities rather than negative stereotyping), what they are doing is no less repugnant than saying "all Mexican men are lazy" or "all Black women are controlling" .... it's ridiculous.

That's a nice characterization of men who want foreign brides. You and Maria Cantwell should go bowling.

I don't know what happened to my last post. We'll try this again:

    http://www.russian-women-forum.com/viewforum/Senator-Maria-Cantwell--International-Mail-Order-Bride-Act(IMBA)/Maria-Cantwell-desperately-presented-false-and-misleading-testimony-before-the-Senate-Foreign-Relations-Committee.html

"Ironically, the largest international dating agencies are exempt from IMBRA for suspicious reasons. Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Washington) desperately presented false and misleading testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on July 14, 2004 (falsely) claiming international marriage brokers were involved in human trafficking of women into the United States. A DOJ study had already concluded no such correlation.

Clients of IMBs are essentially a "politically unpopular group." The collective "mass psychological" behavior of human beings sometimes dictates totally irrational responses to events similar to mob anger mentality. Japanese Americans during World War II, a politically unpopular group, were placed in internment camps having done nothing wrong.

The proponents continue to use deception , distortion and exaggeration, all of which are a form of lying (political McCarthyism). They carefully engineer "one sided" media interviews with no opposing point of view.

IMBRA proponents sensationalize the three foreign immigrant women killed by American men in "mail order bride arrangements" in 10 years, masking the ugly American fact that 14,000 American women citizens have been killed by their intimate partner in the same time frame. The only problem with these "International marriages" is a false perception created by IMBRA proponents.

IMBRA is a violation of the rights of people living in America. People living everywhere should have the right to choose whom they marry without government interference. Fellow citizens, please contact your elected representatives and ask for repeal of The "International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005." Please contact your fellow veterans also."

  47. Wytch: "That's a nice characterization of men who want foreign brides. You and Maria Cantwell should go bowling."

Thanks for your tender concern for my social life, Wytch. I am touched. Now, based on what I've read and seen, most men who want foreign brides because they are foreign are in their forties and up. Most brides are in their twenties. Beauty is, of course, a subjective issue, but in all the photographs I've seen, the men look old, fat, greasy and just plain repulsive. Next to their wives especially, the contrast is stunning. That, however, wasn't even the point of my statement, which you ripped out of context. The point here is, that these men are told -- falsely -- that women in a certain country will marry ANYONE who thinks they look hot in a two-piece and don't care about their prospective husbands' age, looks or utter lack of familiarity with (or even interest in) her language and culture. The brokers tell prospective clientele that these supposedly "successful" and "stable" women, with educations, well-paid jobs and even businesses, as well as families that they care about are ready to just drop everything and move to another continent in order to wait on a much older, bitter, unattractive man who in no way, shape or form makes for an understanding or supportive companion. And that is simply a lie. "Foreign" is not some magical culture in which women live to serve men. Women in Asia and Eastern Europe want husbands who care about and understand them, who are reasonably attractive and share enough of a background with them to make a meaningful two-way companionship possible. Any broker who tells you otherwise is selling you a bridge in Brooklyn.

"People living everywhere should have the right to choose whom they marry without government interference."

Um, no. Since the government is the entity that actually confers marital status on you as well bestows certain benefits on you on the basis of your marital status, the government gets to impose conditions. I'm sure it's a total shock to you, but even without IMBRA, you DON'T have an unfettered right to marry whomever you want. You can't marry a child. You can't marry a close relative. You can't marry someone who's already married, or if you yourself are married to someone else.

You can't marry on the basis of a misrepresentation, either. You are actually required to disclose to your perspective wife if you are insolvent, whether you've ever been bankrupt, if you have criminal convictions (ESPECIALLY for domestic violence, child abuse or sexual assault), if you have a mental illness or a communicable disease, any extreme beliefs that would make a difference to her in making a decision on whether to marry you, whether you are infertile (if you know), and if you have any children. Concealing any of those facts, and especially lying about them, can be grounds for an annulment on the basis of fraud. So yeah, the government actually limits who you can and can't marry, and dictates plenty on what you may or may not say to your bride about yourself.

IMBRA does not prevent men from marrying foreign women. It merely requires disclosure that you are already required to make anyway under state law. And it prevents husbands and brokers from telling foreign women that their American husbands have the power to put them in jail or have them deported -- which is a lie, anyway. You have a problem with a law that prevents lying?

  50. As a man whose fiancee is Japanese, I can attest to the fact that everything these guys say about Asian women is pretty much wrong.

My fiancee is, yes, in some ways a stereotypical giggly little Japanese woman. Even though she's 33, most people I introduce her to think she is ten years younger.

On the other hand, she is a beer-swilling, hard-working, slob. Sure, she loves to cook, and she likes laundry, but she's terrible at keeping her apartment clean, she drinks no less than two beers each night, and she practically runs a radio station by herself. On top of that, she used to be a farmer.

The thing is, I don't really know how to answer the stereotypes. A lot of things we say about the Japanese are true - yet, at the same time, Japanese women are FAR freer to act "manly" than women in America are. Japanese women play drums, do martial arts, build things, study languages, and travel alone to other countries.

For example, I knew a woman who owned a restaurant. Her husband worked just as hard as she did, but he gambled money away. She was the one supporting both her husband and her son; on top of that, when she was younger, she BUILT HER OWN HOUSE with her own two hands. Japan is FULL of women who seem demure and petite on the surface, but deep down, they are tough as nails.

Furthermore, I spent four years in Micronesia - many islands in Micronesia have matriarchal cultures where the women wield a lot of traditional power. On other islands, women are oppressed by lazy men who gamble and drink their money away - and those women support their entire communities; whole islands are kept afloat solely by the efforts of women.

And let me tell you something: if any one of those women met an MRA, she would flat-out destroy him. I have never met women more hard-working, more hard-headed, more all-out terrifying than the women I knew in Micronesia. And don't even get me started on Korean women...

When I read an article like this guy wrote, I'm 100% certain that he never spent any time in Asia. Anyone who had actually BEEN to Asia would know how un-fuck-with-able Asian women actually are. These guys are so pathetic, living in their own little delusional dreamworlds. I'd really love to introduce one of these assholes to a Chamorro woman. They wouldn't last ten seconds.
